I make biochar with an elephant stove. At the same time as making biochar for carbon sequestration I enjoy a nice campfire. I often use a copper coil filled with water inserted into the stove in order to heat a hot tub. I usually fuel it with construction waste but I also sometimes use wood found on the forest floor.
