The Introduction of 2014 Aluminum Sheet Plate

2014 Aluminum sheet plate is an Al-Cu-Mg-Si series high-strength wrought aluminum alloy, the copper content between 3.9% and 5.0%, can be strengthened by heat treatment. The chemical composition of 2014 alloy is similar to 2A14 aluminum alloy, it has high strength and good hot workability, and is easy to forge. The performance is basically the same as 2A14. Due to the high copper content of 2014 aluminum sheet, the strength is high, corrosion resistance is poor, and it is prone to intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion, the aluminum plate can be clad with pure aluminum to enhance its corrosion resistance. Its weldability is still good, and its cutting performance is good.
