The header punch machine is a highly automated solution designed to create up to 40 pairs of slots on a pipe, enabling the production of a maximum of 40 panels.
The machine simultaneously cuts the header pipe, forming two specially shaped, rectangular slots for each panel. To maintain the integrity of the pipe during punching, internal support is provided.
These slots are precisely matched to the manufacturer's standard design panel profile for optimal flow. The machine automatically indexes the header pipe for the next panel, repeating the punching process. Due to its computer indexing control, the indexing distance can be easily adjusted, allowing for flexible panel spacing as needed. The efficient cycle time for punching and moving to the next position is approximately 6 seconds.
The header punch press tool is powered hydraulically, and its hydraulic power unit is integrated into the machine's frame, minimizing its footprint. Additionally, the hydraulic power system can be equipped with air/oil or water/oil cooling systems, making it suitable for applications with higher ambient temperatures. This versatile and efficient machine significantly streamlines the header punching process, contributing to the production of high-quality panels.
