I have been training smallholder farmers on how to make and use biochar. Already 1000 farmers trained and expect to increase the number in few coming days.

Procedure: Mixing biochar with manure and soil then putting the mixture back to soil ( earth)
We mixed 100 Liters of biochar with cow dung manure
and soil then we put back the mixure in an open field meant for nappier grass growing.
We used a 20L bucket container and measured 5 times the bucket full of biochar. and 3 times the bucket full of cow dung. all this mixed soil.
We carry the mixture in a wheelbarrow and pour the mixture in the nappier grass open field as shown in the videos.

This was our 16 the week doing the biochar preparation for our clients. We visited 40 homes in Ratang'a village and collected the black char which we used to prepare biochar to some three big livestock farmers.
We prepared a total of 1400 litres of biochar*

During our 15th week of biochar preperation, we vissited Seka village where we collected over 800 litres of black char before we mixed it with a huge volume of cow dung in one of our main clients home. However we also prepared about 45 litres each to atleast five clients who had small volumes of cow dung.

My 13th week of work. Visited my clients in Aram village where we managed to prepare 1400 litres of biochar for 13 families.
